To Filter the eBOM Tree Display
1. At the bottom of the eBOM tree, click Filter. The Filter Viewables dialog box opens.
2. Select Item names, and then select Matching or Not Matching.
3. Next to the Text box, type a string to match or not match.
4. Select Only selected parts to include only the parts selected and their ancestors.

You can designate a maximum number of parts to display. If more than the designated number of parts are selected, then only the root node is shown.
5. Select Parts in the sBOM > In sBOM to exclude deleted parts from the display, or select Parts in the sBOM > Not in sBOM to display only deleted parts.
6. Select or clear Parts with a 3D representation.
7. Select Add siblings of filtered parts to include the siblings of the filtered parts.
8. Select Dynamically reapply the filter if changes occur to update the sBOM tree automatically according to the filters and commands. Otherwise it updates only when you click the refresh icon.
9. Select Expand tree to show filtered parts to show all the filtered in nodes and their ancestors. This is the default state.
10. Select Make Default to save the current filter settings across multiple sessions.
11. Click OK. The filters are applied.
