When the sBOM is a subset of an eBOM, you can remove unused part files from the eBOM. This enables quicker uploading of large data sets, and limits the unnecessary transfer of data when sending c3di files. The parts with removed files appear in the eBOM tree with a red cross indicating that they are empty. You can filter the eBOM tree to not show the parts with removed files, or to show only those parts. The removal of eBOM part files is irreversible if the source is embedded, and reversible after an update if the source is linked.
