To Filter the sBOM Tree Display
In the primary panel, at the bottom of the sBOM Tree, click Filter or Filtering. Then in the Filter Viewables dialog box, select the filters to apply:
Filter
Result
Item names
Filters nodes and their ancestors by name.
Matching
Includes only the nodes that contain the text you type.
Not Matching
Excludes nodes that contain the text you type.
Only selected parts
Includes only selected parts and their ancestors.

You can designate a maximum number of items to display. If more than the designated number of items are selected, then only the root node is shown.
Leaf nodes unattached to eBOM
Displays leaf nodes in the sBOM tree that have no corresponding leaf node in the eBOM tree.
Nodes with a missing link to the eBOM
Displays the nodes in the sBOM tree that have corresponding nodes in the eBOM tree, but for which the link to the eBOM node is missing.
Only items that are itemized
Includes only instances that are itemized in at least one figure.
Add siblings of filtered parts
Includes the siblings of the filtered parts.
Dynamically reapply filter if changes occur
Updates the sBOM Tree automatically according to the filters and commands.
Expand tree to show filtered items
Expands all the filtered nodes.
Make Default
Saves the current filter settings as the default.
OK
Applies the filters and closes the dialog box.
Refresh
Updates the filters manually.
