To Use the Query Segments Tool
1. Select the line to query.
2. Click > > . The Query Segment Properties window opens. The following information is displayed:
◦ Line Length—Total line length.
◦ Area Enclosed—Area enclosed by the line.
The following additional information is displayed when editing a line:
◦ Segment Length—Length of the current segment.
◦ Segment Angle—Angle in degrees, measured counterclockwise from the positive horizontal axis.
◦ Enclosed Angle—Angle in degrees between the current and the previous line segment. For an open line, the angle can be between the current segment and the invisible line segment connecting the last and first points in the line.
◦ Arc Length—Length of the arc or the length of the segment if the line segment is straight.
3. Click Close.
Query Segments. The Query Segment Properties window opens. The following information is displayed:
