To Set Text Temporary Properties
1. Click the Text tab and click the required text command. The New Text dialog box opens.
2. Click Temporary Properties. The Temporary New Text Properties dialog box opens.
3. Click to change the default Font. The Font Style Selection dialog box opens. Choose a font from the list and click OK.
4. Click to change the text Type. The Text Style Selection dialog box opens. Choose a text type from the list and click OK.
Unadorned—Places a label with no added graphics.
with + Datum—Places a label with a + drawn at the text anchor point.
with Circle—Places a label with a circle surrounding the text.
with Diamond Datum—Places a label with a diamond at the text anchor point.
with Rectangle—Places text with a rectangle surrounding the text.
with Rounded box—Places a label with a rounded box surrounding the text.
with Underline—Places a label with underlined text.
with X Datum—Places a label with an X at the text anchor point.
5. To change the Layer select a layer form the list.
6. Type a value for text Height. The default is 4.
7. When you are editing existing text you can change the X position and Y position of the text on the sheet.
8. Type an angle value to Rotate the text.

When you enter an angle greater than 120 degrees, it is automatically modified to - (180 - the specified angle) to keep the text legible. For example, an angle of 121 degrees becomes -59 degrees.
9. To change the default text color, click the Color box to open the Select a Color dialog box and select a color for the text.
10. Set text Justification.
11. Define the Decortext properties:
Click the Height/Width check box to change the Width, Height, and Shear of the text.
Click the Aspect/Gap check box to change the Aspect value to change the text aspect ratio and change the Gap value to set different spacing between characters.
12. Click Apply to configure properties for additional text or click OK.
