To Replace a Shape Instance
1. In an open sheet, select the shape to replace.
2. Click Diagramming > Replace Shape. The Catalog Selector opens.
3. Select the replacement shape and click OK.
To Replace a Portshape
1. In an open sheet, select the portshape to replace.
2. Click Diagramming, click the arrow adjacent to Replace Shape, and click Replace PortShape Graphics. The Replace portshape graphics dialog box opens.
3. Select the replacement portshape and click OK.

• Shape properties are not updated.
• If you select a shape from a different catalog item, the link between the catalog item and the shape is updated.
