To Edit Multiple Labels
1. Select a label to edit.
2. Press and hold down CTRL. Select the rest of the labels to edit. The selected labels can be automatically or manually placed fibershape labels, labels from other shapes, or a combination of labels.
3. Right-click and choose Properties from the shortcut menu. One of the following dialog boxes opens:
The Fiber Properties dialog box—Opens to the Labels tab when automatically placed fibershape labels are selected. The values of properties common to all labels selected are displayed.
The Edit Label on Component dialog box— Opens when manually placed fiber labels or labels for other shapes are selected. The values of properties common to all labels selected are displayed.
The Multiple label selection dialog box—Opens when a combination of automatically placed fibershape labels and other shape labels are selected. Select an option:
Automatic—To edit only the automatically placed fibershape labels. The Fiber Properties dialog box opens to the Labels tab.
Manual—To edit only the manually placed labels. The Edit Label on Component dialog box opens.
Cancel—Cancels editing.
4. Change the format, type, font, layer, height, rotation, color, and justification, as required. When you edit a field, including blank fields, the value changes for all labels. Fields left blank will remain as they were for the individual label.
5. Click the Constrained check box to constrain all labels selected. To cancel the constrained option for all labels, click the Constrained check box to constrain all labels, and then clear the check box.
6. Click OK.
