To Edit Catalog Objects

• To edit only artifact parameters

◦ Select a shape and click

below the graphics window. The Embedded Parameters area appears.

◦ Select an artifact in the Catalog Explorer and click

, or right-click the artifact and choose Properties from the shortcut menu. The Properties dialog box opens.

• To edit both the shape properties and artifact parameters, select a shape in the Catalog Explorer and click

. Alternatively, select a shape in a sheet, right-click and choose Properties from the shortcut menu. The Properties dialog box opens. You can modify properties and the parameters of the artifact of the selected shape.

• To edit only shape properties, click the Properties tab. The shape properties that can be edited are available.

When artifact parameters are modified, all related artifact shapes reflect the modification. For example, if the name of the wiring shape is changed to ncc1, the names of both shapes change to ncc1.
