To Create a New Design Sheet
From the Main Window
1. In an open design, in the sheet switcher controls, click
or right-click and choose
New Sheet. The
Catalog Selector dialog box opens.
2. Select a template from the list and click OK. A new sheet is created and a new sheet tab appears.
| • When a design sheet is open, the newly created sheet is automatically created in the same Design Explorer folder and with the same diagram type. • When there is no sheet open, the newly created sheet is automatically created in the root Design Explorer folder with the default diagram type. |
From the Design Explorer
1. Click > . The Design Explorer dialog box opens.
2. Select the parent folder.
3. Click
or right-click and choose
New Sheet from the shortcut menu. The
Catalog Selector dialog box opens.
4. Select a template from the list and click OK. A new sheet is created.
| If a sheet is already open, the newly created sheet is automatically set to the same diagram type. |
