To Create a Draft Group from Design Instances

Creo™ Schematics 4.0 Help Center > Design Basics > Working with an Internal Catalog > Draft Groups > To Create a Draft Group from Design Instances

1. In an open design select the instances to include in the draft group.

2. Click Tools >

Draft Group from Selection. The Catalog Explorer opens with a new draft group.

3. Click

to configure draft group properties.

4. Click

to add additional items to the draft group.

It is recommended that you add a datum at a suitable location, for example on pin 1 of one of the objects, to aid in placing the draft group.
