To Convert Text to a Label
Catalog Sheets
1. In the Catalog Explorer, select a shape to label.
2. Click
. The sheet opens.
3. Select the text elements to convert.
4. On the Catalog tab, click the arrow next to Label.
5. Click
Convert Text to Label. The
Convert text to labels dialog box opens.
6. Click OK. The selected text is converted to a label. When a single text element is selected, the Edit Label on dialog box opens to allow definition of text style and format string.
7. Click OK.
Design Sheets
1. Select the text elements to convert.
2. click > . The Convert text to labels dialog box opens.
3. Click OK. The selected text is converted to a label. When a single text element is selected, the Edit Label on Sheet dialog box opens to allow definition of text style and format string.
4. Click OK.
