About Converting, Assigning, and Un-erasing Annotations in Active Combination State
You can use the Show Annotations dialog box that opens when you click Annotate > Show Annotations for the following operations:
Convert annotations not associated with an annotation orientation, that is, convert temporary annotations to permanent annotations by automatically assigning an appropriate annotation orientation. For example, embedded driving dimensions, hole notes, unplaced annotations, embedded weld symbols and so on.
Convert driving dimensions to Driving Dimension Annotation Elements (DDAEs).
Assign annotation elements and standalone annotations to active combined view.
Un-erase erased annotations assigned to the active combined view and set their display status to shown. Annotations with shown status are visible in the graphics window.

* If you cancel the show annotations operation, the Annotations created prior to Pro/ENGINEER wildfire 2.0 in a legacy model are added in the model tree and the model is updated. However, the annotations are not displayed in the model in the graphics window.
