When you convert driving dimensions and annotations with no annotation orientation assigned to them to 3D Annotations, Creo Parametric automatically assigns an appropriate annotation orientation.

The orientation of the model during target selection determines the viewing direction and horizontal text direction for the temporary annotations. If you spin the model and then add another target using the CTRL key, the annotations created earlier continue to use the same annotation orientation as their temporary annotation. Annotations in the newly selected target are displayed in annotation orientations that are appropriate for the new orientation.
