Use the Offset tool to offset a quilt, a solid body, or a surface of a wall to create a new surface or an unattached sheet metal wall. You can redefine an offset wall as a surface, or redefine an offset surface as a wall, if the wall is not the first one in a design. You must specify thickness for a first wall. Keep in mind that additional options specific to Sheetmetal Design are available for the Offset tool.
