To Modify Projected Geometry
After you create geometry by projecting a curve or an edge, you can use the Corner, Divide, Fillet, and Chamfer tools to modify the geometry.
Note that, when projecting a chain, a composite curve is created. The composite curve is treated as a single entity, and individual points such as corners, junctions, etc. are not recognized. This causes some limitations when modifying a composite curve:
The Divide tool doesn't recognize specific points such as corners, junctions, etc.
In order to use the Fillet and Chamfer tools, the composite curve needs to be divided into multiple entities at the corner point where you would like to fillet or chamfer the curve. Use the Divide tool on that point, then apply the fillet or chamfer.
