Outlet Pressure
The outlet pressure is a required boundary condition for a flow simulation study. The outlet pressure must be applied to a surface that is a part of the fluid domain.
To Define Outlet Pressure
1. Click Live Simulation > Outlet Pressure. The Outlet Pressure dialog box opens.
2. Specify a name for the boundary condition, or use the default name. Click the color swatch adjacent to Name to change the color of the icon, the distribution, or the text displayed for the boundary condition.
3. Select the surfaces to which you want to apply pressure. Your selection appears in the References collector.
4. Enter a real number, arithmetic expression, or parameter name for the value of pressure in the Magnitude field.
5. Select units of pressure from the list or accept the default units.
6. Click OK to create and save the boundary condition.
