About Corner Treatment
You can use the Corner Treatment tab of the Flat or the Flange tool to define the way that two non-tangent wall segments of a wall intersect. You can also use the Edge Rip tool to apply corner treatment to the intersection of non-tangent wall segments. You can define seam settings during feature creation, or you can predefine them using sheet metal parameters or in the Seam area of the Sheetmetal Preferences dialog box.
For a Flat wall you can define how to create geometry of the corner.
Create with Seam—Creates a corner with a corner seam.
Create without Seam—Creates a corner without a corner seam.
Do not Create—Does not create corner geometry.
You can apply the following types of corner treatment at the intersection of non-tangent wall segments created using the Flat wall, Flange wall, or Edge Rip tools:
Open—Creates a standard open edge rip.
You can select the Narrow the corner check box to completely close the corner.
Gap—Creates a gap along the edge rip according to a specified dimension.
Blind—Creates a gap along the edge rip by specifying two dimensions.
Overlap—Creates a standard overlapping edge rip.
