About Detailing a Sheet Metal Design
Sheet metal drawings are the blueprints of your sheet metal design. They enable you to effectively communicate the layout and details needed for manufacture. Because drawings are associative, any changes made to the part are updated in the drawing and vice versa.
Sheet metal drawings are detailed as any other Creo Parametric drawing. You can also perform the following sheet metal drawing operations:
Display a flattened view, in addition to other design views, in a single drawing.
Show a bend order table.
Show one or more bend notes as you would a drawing annotation.
Customize the display of bend notes. The default arrows denote the following directions:
—bends toward the screen.
—bends away from the screen.
