To Edit the Properties of a Feature in Inheritance Features
This procedure is for performing changes to properties and cosmetic features of dimensions and annotation element values of features inside inheritance features.
2. Expand the inheritance feature in the Model Tree.
3. Follow the steps below to edit dimensions or edit annotations.
Editing Dimensions
1. Expand the inheritance feature in the Model Tree.
2. Select a feature to edit, right-click, and select . The dimensions show in the graphics window.
3. Select a dimension to change in the graphics window. The Dimension tab opens. Use the tab to edit dimension properties.
4. To edit the value of a dimension, right-click the highlighted dimension and select Value. You are prompted to confirm the operation.
5. Click Yes to confirm adding the dimension to the inherited varied items table.
6. Type a new value in the box and press ENTER.
Editing Annotations
1. Display annotations in the graphics window.
2. Click the annotation to modify and click . The Note dialog box opens.
3. Edit the cosmetic properties of the selected annotation element.
4. Click OK. The changed properties are updated.
