About Multiple Shapes
A Freestyle feature may contain multiple disconnected Freestyle shapes. When you add a primitive to a Freestyle feature, it is listed as a shape on the Freestyle Tree. You can create shapes by adding primitives or by slicing an existing shape in the Freestyle feature. You can add multiple primitives or shapes in a Freestyle feature without deleting the existing shapes. When you slice a portion from a shape, the original shape is deleted and new shapes are created. All shapes in the current feature are listed in the Freestyle Tree. You can select a shape and modify it irrespective of the order in which it was created.
You can perform the following operations on the shapes:
Select
Join
Connect
Mirror
Mesh Slice
Duplicate
Suppress
Delete
