To Create a Wrapped Datum Curve
1. Click Model > Editing > Wrap. The Wrap tab opens.
2. To define a sketch to wrap around the body or quilt, do one of the following things:
Select a sketch to wrap.
To create a sketch, click the References tab, click Define, sketch a section, and click OK.
A preview shows the sketch wrapped around the first body or quilt that the Wrap tool finds in the default wrapping direction.

You could also select a sketch first, or select a datum plane or planar surface first, and then click Model > Editing > Wrap.
3. To select a different body or quilt, click the collector next to , and then in the graphics window, select the body or quilt to wrap the sketch around. You can also select a body or quilt using the Destination collector on the References tab.
4. To select the wrap origin, click the box next to , and then use the down arrow to select the origin from the list.
5. If you wrap a disconnected sketch onto a multi-contour surface, and want to prevent the sketch from wrapping onto intersecting surfaces, select the Ignore intersection surface check box.
6. If you want to trim at the surface boundary the portion of the curve that cannot be wrapped, select the Trim at boundary check box.
7. Click OK. The sketched curve is wrapped on the body or quilt that you selected.

If you click Unlink on the References tab, the association between the Wrap feature and the sketch is broken, and an internal sketch is created. To modify the internal sketch, click Edit to open the sketch for editing. You can also use Edit Internal Sketch from the shortcut menu.
