To Configure DXF or DWG as a Publish Deliverable

The DWG option is available only on Windows.
1. Open a drawing to publish.
2. Click File > Save As > Export. The Export Setup dashboard opens.
3. Select the option DXF or DWG.
4. Click Settings. The Export Environment for DXF or the Export Environment for DWG dialog box opens.
5. Select a file type version.
6. Click the Entities tab to set other options:
Splines as is or as polylines
Crosshatches as is or as separated entities
Points as is or as shapes
Notes as Text, Stroke All Characters, or as Stroke Special Characters
Export multi-line note as MTEXT or as is
UNICODE encoding to export Unicode characters to DXF
Text alignment as is or as Fit
7. Click the Sheets tab to set a sheet export option: Current sheet as model space, Current sheet as paper space, All sheets as paper space, or Selected sheets.
8. If you have clicked Selected sheets perform the following operations:
Under Sheet as model space, select a sheet number from the box to select sheets to export.
Under Sheets as paper space, click to add a sheet to the Selected column or to remove a sheet from the Selected column.
9. Click the Misc tab.
Click the Export Blanked Layers check box to include blanked layers in the export; clear the check box to exclude them.
Under Assembly Structure, select As Layers or As Blocks. You can also select either or both of the following options when exporting the assembly structure as blocks:
Nested—Preserves the Creo Parametric assembly and component hierarchy during export to AutoCAD.
View base—Creates assembly structure blocks for each view with the view block as the top block of each hierarchy.
10. Click the Properties tab to customize the following properties:
Colors
Layers
Line fonts
Text fonts
11. Click the Open Log Window check box to open the INFORMATION WINDOW after you have saved the publish deliverable.
12. Click OK in the Export Environment for DXF or the Export Environment for DWG dialog box.

The above settings will be stored in the respective dialog boxes for all subsequent export operations until you modify the settings again.
13. Click Preview to preview the drawing to publish with the current settings.
14. Click Close Preview to close the preview of the drawing.

If the drawing preview is not suitable for your requirements, click Settings and modify the settings in the Export Environment for DXF or the Export Environment for DWG dialog box. You can then repeat steps 13 and 14.
