To Generate and View an Import Log File Offline
1. Click Tools > Investigate > Import Log File. The Import Log File dialog box opens.
2. Click Generate from model to generate an import log file of the model in session. The adjacent text-box automatically displays the name of the model in session.
3. Click Include all sub-models to include the logged information of each subassembly and part component of the model in the import log file.
Click and select a part or subassembly in the model to generate an import log file of a single sub-model instead of the entire model in session.
4. Retain the default selection of Short or click Long to generate a short or long log file.
5. Click OK to generate the import log file. The browser window of Creo named Summary of Import Processing displays the import log file generated in the HTML format. If you selected Include all sub-models, the log file consists of multiple pages, connected through hyperlinks, a page for each subassembly or part component.

The log file generated offline is not saved to disk.
6. Click Save to save the import details displayed in the browser to the *.html format in the Save web page dialog box.
7. Click Print to print the import details.
