After you create a parting surface for a mold, you can modify it. You can rename, redefine, or shade the parting surface. You can also draft, translate, rotate, and mirror the specified geometry. Finally, trim or merge patches into a single surface. You can also use tools in the Transform and Edit Features groups on the Parting Surface tab to modify the parting surface.
