Description
The Style tool now includes a stretch factor for curve tangent lengths, giving you more precise control when designing or editing curves.
Instead of the previous Relax Length value, the stretch factor sets the tangent length as a proportion of the natural tangent length.
Proportional length on the Tangent tab
This factor can be displayed as an editable dimension, allowing adjustments outside of Style and integration with other features like relations and family tables.
Stretch factor used in relations
This update aligns with similar stretch controls found in Boundary Blend (curve through points) and Style (surface tangency).
Benefits
Provides finer control over the proportional length of curve tangents
Makes it easier to capture and communicate design intent by exposing the stretch factor for use beyond the Style tool
