Description
You can now use Thermal Study in Generative Design. This is a steady-state thermal study with conduction and convection boundary conditions, where the convection boundary condition can be suppressed. The new load types include heat flow, heat flux, and heat generation load.
The following new objectives are added for this study:
• Minimize the peak temperature with limit volume
• Minimize mass at the peak temperature
The result probe shows the temperature values.
Benefits
This enhancement expands analytical capabilities of Generative Design by including another type of study, offering powerful optimizations with thermal conditions. You can now solve additional use cases with the new objectives.
