To Export Weld and Joint Information in xMCF Format
You can export from Creo to an xMCF (Extended Master Connection File) file. It is an .xml structured file as defined by ISO 8329. This format defines standards for connection and joint information. It can be used across different engineering functions, tools, and stages in product lifecycle management.
Currently, connection information is exported only for Joint Members and Spot Weld features in xMCF format.
1. Click > > . The Export Welds and Joints Information dialog box opens.
2. Next to New file name, type a name for the file.
