About Propagating Annotation Elements
Annotation propagation enables you to automatically transfer annotation elements between models, parts, or data-sharing features within a model-based environment. In Creo Parametric, annotation propagation streamlines your workflow by preserving design intent and reducing manual effort, allowing you to reuse existing annotations across related models. Use the Propagate Annotation dialog box to view, select, and control which annotations are propagated to target features, parts or models. You can select individual annotation elements, including complete parent-child stacks, and use intuitive controls for adding or removing items. When annotations are propagated through data sharing features such as Copy Geometry, Merge, Shrinkwrap, or Publish Geometry. Creo automatically recognizes and manages complete parent-child stacks. This ensures that all related annotations are included and their dependency relationships are maintained.
