For standalone annotations in Model-Based Definition and drawing-owned offset annotations in drawing mode, when you select and delete a related symbol or a surface finish individually, then only the selected annotation is deleted. Annotations that are shown in drawing, if any annotation is deleted from a stack, then the entire stack of annotations is deleted.

When deleting a parent annotation, the related symbols or surface finish is also deleted. An exception to this is the Annotation feature: for the Annotation feature the related symbol is shown as a suppressed annotation in the Detail tree.
