Create Draft Annotations Referencing Ply View Geometry
You can create draft annotations in a ply view, a flat ply view, or in a sheet of a ply book by referencing the geometry of the active ply. Annotations are not supported in a composite feature. You cannot create model annotations in a ply view, a flat ply view, or in a sheet of a ply book.
To create a draft annotation, use commands on the Annotations tab. You can create notes, symbols, dimensions, and so on. You can modify their font, size, color, justification, and text style. In a drawing, the annotations of the active ply are displayed, and the annotations of other plies are hidden. In the Drawing tree, you can identify the hidden annotations by the icon. You can delete the hidden annotations. You can move a draft annotation only to a ply view of the same model.
When the drawing contains a ply view, you can control the visibility of ply geometry and ply annotations by showing or hiding the layers specific to the ply view. You cannot use the layers of the top drawing to control their visibility.
