Composite Design
With Composite Design, you can create fiber-reinforced polymer composite products using a rich set of dedicated features to define your laminate layup.
In the Composite Design environment, you can perform the complete process of designing a composite product including defining plies and cores, editing the Laminate Tree, performing the draping simulation to analyze the ply producibility, preparing the design for manufacturing by darting and splicing, exporting the ply and core flat patterns, performing integrated structural analysis with Creo Simulate, and creating automated ply book documentation.
Additionally, you can also create transitions between plies, calculate ply-based mass properties, create laminate sections, export your design for a third-party analysis, and create a ply-based solidified laminate model from your composite feature.
