Description
The Extrapolate method in the Extend feature is improved. The control points of the extrapolated surface are now redistributed to better cover the entire area of the extrapolated surface.
• Red—Extension method Extrapolate showing the control mesh
• Blue—Extension method Same
Previously the control points of the extrapolated surface were centered around the original domain of definition of the original surface. The control mesh did not fully cover the new surface, and it included areas that were not involved in the extension direction.
