Activating and Restoring a Version
Any version that may not be the latest on any branch can be selected and can be activated.
To activate a version:
1. Open Collaboration History and right-click the version to be activated.
2. In the context menu, do any one of the following:
For latest version, click Activate.
For non-latest version, click Activate and View.
*
When activating a version or a change, if you have models in the current session that are not yet saved, you will be prompted to save or discard those models.
Restoring an Older Version
You can select any version that is active but is not the latest on a branch and restore it to make it the latest. Before you perform the restore action, make sure no other user has locked any model in the selected version. The restore action fails, if another user locks any model in the version.
1. In the collaboration history, select the version to be restored. In the context menu, select Activate and View.
2. The selected version is now the active version.
3. Select Restore from the context menu. The current active version is restored as the latest version in the main branch.
*
The restore action is enabled only when the non-latest version is active.
