Modify channel edges
You can modify channel edges using the Modify and Modi 2 tabs of the Spline Channel Editor, in the following ways:
Directly.
Indirectly, by moving its guides.
Indirectly, by moving its connectors either dynamically or to snapping partners.

To directly modify a channel edge,
1. Click Spline Channel and then, in the Channel group, click Create. The Spline Channel Editor dialog box opens.
2. Click the Modify tab.
3. Click .
4. Select the edge. Edge interpolation points appear.
5. Modify the channel edge using the buttons under Edge Modifications. See the related links for details.
To modify a channel edge by moving its guide,
1. Click Spline Channel and then, in the Channel group, click Create. The Spline Channel Editor dialog box opens.
2. Click the Modify tab.
3. Click .
4. Select the guide. The Position dialog box opens.
5. Move the guide using the 3D CoPilot or the Position dialog box.
6. Click Done in the Position dialog box. The channel edge follows the guide.
To modify a channel edge by dynamically moving its connector,
1. Click Spline Channel and then, in the Channel group, click Create. The Spline Channel Editor dialog box opens.
2. Click the Modify tab.
3. Click .
4. Select the connector. The Position dialog box opens.
5. Move the connector using the 3D CoPilot or the Position dialog box.
6. Click Done in the Position dialog box. The channel edge follows the connector.
To modify a channel edge by moving the connector to its snapping partner,
1. Click Spline Channel and then, in the Channel group, click Create. The Spline Channel Editor dialog box opens.
2. Click the Modify tab.
3. Click .
4. Select the connector.
5. Select the snapping partner. The connector snaps to its partner and the channel edge follows the connector.
