Save and load scenes
You can save a scene in Creo Elements/Direct Modeling for future use.
To save the current scene,
1. Click the Scene tab in the Rendering Browser.
2. Right-click the Current Scene folder.
3. Click Save as New Scene.
4. Click to expand the Scenes folder in the Rendering Browser.
5. Locate the scene titled New Scene.
6. Right-click New Scene.
7. Click Rename.
8. Type a more specific name for New Scene.
9. Press the ENTER key.
The current scene is saved automatically when Creo Elements/Direct Modeling is closed, and restored when it is opened. You may wish to load a different saved scene.
To load a saved scene,
1. Click the Scene tab in the Rendering browser.
2. Click to expand the Scenes folder.
3. Right-click the scene you wish to load.
4. Click Apply to Current Scene. The scene is applied to the current scene.
You can load predefined exterior, interior, skies, objects, and studio scenes.
The DefaultScene provides the Enhanced Realism features of the base module of Creo Elements/Direct Modeling to Creo Elements/Direct Rendering. The DefaultScene has the following Enhanced Realism information:
Current Viewport Lights - Light Settings of the viewport.
Current Viewport Background - Background of the viewport.
Default Environment - Chosen environment map (You can also click Scene > Environments > Default Environment in the Rendering Browser to access the Default Environment )
Default Scenery – Color, reflectance, transparency, displacement and layout of the scene (You can also click Scene > Scenery > Default Environment in the Rendering Browser to access the Default Scenery)

You must apply the DefaultScene to the CurrentScene to apply the Enhanced Realism settings.
