Save a frame
A frame surrounds each sheet of a drawing to indicate the outer limits of the sheet. The frame can consist merely of border lines to indicate the sheet boundary, or can be built up to display information about the sheet and its contents. For example, you can design a title block as part of the frame, and include your company logo.
You can create a frame and save it to the Creo Elements/Direct Manager Server database. The frame will be added to the list of sheet frames in the Creo Elements/Direct Annotation Create Drawing command.
To save a frame,
1. In Creo Elements/Direct Annotation, click File > Model Manager > Save Frame. Alternatively, right-click the frame and, in the shortcut menu, click Save Frame. The Save Frame dialog box opens.
2. Type a value in the Number box under sheet section.
3. Select New Frame in the Name box under Database Frame section.
4. Type a name in DB Name box.
5. Click OK to complete the operation.
Your new frame will be added to the list of frames when you create a drawing.
