Change the active light's attenuation distance

To change the attenuation distance of the active light, it must be a point light or spotlight:

1. Open the Light menu.

2. If necessary, enter the number of the light you want to be active in the data entry field next to Active Light.

3. If you want to see the current attenuation distance, click on the toggle indicator to the left of the Attn Dist button.

4. Specify the attenuation distance by using one of the following ways:

◦ Enter the distance in the data entry field next to Attn Dist.

◦ Click Attn Dist and enter a value for the attenuation distance.

You can switch off the attenuation distance without losing the value by clicking off Attn Dist. When you need it again, click Attn Dist on. The default attenuation distance for Creo Elements/Direct 3D Access lights is 1.
