Change radius
You can change the radius of full or partial cylinders and cylindrical recognized features such as holes, bosses, and pockets (bosses and pockets must be embedded in one surface).
To change the radius of cylinders
1. Click 3D Access and then, in the Window group, click the arrow next to Toolbars.
2. Click Modeling > Commands to activate the Modeling Commands toolbar.
3. In the Modeling Commands toolbar, click Change Radius.
4. Select the face of the cylinder whose radius you want to change by clicking on it. An arrow will appear.
5. Click and drag on the arrow to expand or decrease the cylinder radius.
6. Click to complete the operation.
For more choices:
1. In the Modeling Commands toolbar, click Change Radius.
2. Click to open the Change Radius dialog box.
3. Click the Radial Faces box.
4. Specify the cylinder using one of the following ways:
a. Click the cylindrical face to specify a single cylinder.
b. Use the Select tool to specify multiple cylinders. The current radius value is shown in the box next to New Radius if only one cylindrical face is specified.
5. If any blends will be affected by the change, click Redo Blends and click the blends that will be affected. Creo Elements/Direct 3D Access recalculates these blends so they smoothly fit into the modification.
6. Specify the new radius by typing the value in the New Radius box.
7. At this stage, you have three choices:
Click to complete the operation.
Click Preview to see the new radius.
Click Next to change the radius of the cylinder without closing the option box.
