Inserting Objects into Documents
You can insert other PTC Server objects into the document object currently open in Arbortext Editor. Use the following procedure to insert an object in the current document:
1. Check out and open the document in Arbortext Editor.
2. Place the cursor at the location you want to insert the object.
The cursor must be positioned in a location that will allow the pasted object to be in context with the associated document type.
3. Search for or browse to the object you want to insert and select that object in the Browser hierarchy.
4. In the Browser, choose > .
A reference to the selected object is placed at the cursor location in the current document.
