Searching for PTC Server Objects
You can specify a range of criteria to search for objects in a PTC Server. You can do a simple search based on an object's name and creation or modification date. You can also do an advanced search where you can specify several object properties with which to customize your search. The advanced search also enables you to save a search for future use.
Use the following procedure to search for objects stored in a PTC Server:
1. In the Browser, choose > or click the Search button.
The Search dialog box is displayed, offering several options for defining your search criteria.
2. When you have filled in your search criteria, choose Search.
Objects matching the criteria are listed in the Browser.
