Finding Marked Sections
Marked sections, sometimes called “conditional text,” are parts of a document which are processed selectively. Marked sections are used to print different versions of a manual from the same master document. You can search for marked section parameter entities, marked section statuses, or both.
To find a marked section:
1. Select Find > Find Marked Section.
2. Type the name of the marked section in the MS Parameters text box, or click the arrow and select it from the pulldown list.
*
By default, all the Effective Status options are checked. You can focus your search by deselecting options where appropriate.
3. Click Find Next.
