Finding and Changing Text
Arbortext Editor provides text searching and enhancements to refine your searches. You can do case-sensitive (or insensitive) searches or use regular expressions to generalize your search for text. You can also insert and find specified locations in your document using electronic bookmarks.

2. Type the word or words you want to search for in the Find What text box.
3. Click Find Next.
To replace a word or phrase:
1. Type the word or words you want replaced in the Find What text box.
2. Type the new information in the Replace With text box.
3. Click Find Next. The next occurrence of the text you're searching is highlighted in your document.
4. Click Replace to copy in the new text or Find Next to skip it and find the next occurrence.
5. To automatically change all occurrences of the text you're searching, click Replace All.
Searching begins at the cursor's current location and progresses in the direction indicated by the selected Direction check box. When the end of the document is reached, you're prompted to continue the search from the opposite end of the document back to the cursor location. Clicking Yes ensures that the entire document is searched.
If an item to be replaced is inside a DMS object that is writable (not read-only or checked out by another user), then the object will be checked out for edit. You will be prompted to confirm the check out.
