Insert Highlight Link Dialog Box
Use this dialog box to indicate the object you want to highlight in an intelligent graphic when the link is selected. You can also select how you want the selected object displayed and how any current highlighting in the graphic is affected. Note that this dialog box is named Modify Highlight Link when it is opened from the Modify Link dialog box. It is named Add Highlight Link when it is opened from the Add Link dialog box.
The Insert Highlight Link dialog box contains the following options:
Arbortext IsoView or Creo View control — Displays the intelligent graphic.
Object — Determines the object in the intelligent graphic that you want to highlight.
Objects defined in an intelligent graphic can be identified by either an ID or a name. An ID is only associated with one object in the graphic. A name can be associated with multiple objects. Select ID to view the IDs for all of the objects in the graphic. Select Name to view all of the objects in the graphic that have names associated with them.
The object you select is highlighted in the ActiveX control.
Behavior — Determines how the selected object is displayed and how any current highlighting in the graphic is affected when the link is selected.
This section of the dialog box has the following options:
Navigation — Determines how the selected object is displayed when the link is selected. The following types of navigation are available:
Current — The graphic retains its current state.
Zoom to Object — The selected object becomes the focus of the graphic.
Full View — The graphic is displayed in its default state.
Move to Object — The selected object is centered in the graphic.
Creo View does not support this navigation option.
When you select one of these options, the navigation type is demonstrated in the Arbortext IsoView control.
Highlight — Determines how any current highlighting in the graphic is affected when the link is selected. The following types of highlighting are available:
Current — The selected object is not highlighted and any current highlighting in the graphic is maintained.
Creo View does not support this highlight option.
New — The selected object is highlighted and any current highlighting in the graphic is removed.
Add — The selected object is highlighted and any current highlighting in the graphic is maintained.
Clear — All highlighting is removed from the graphic.
When you select this option, the Object and Navigation options become unavailable. Linking to a specific object and navigation are not supported when you clear the highlighting.
For Arbortext IsoView, when you select one of these options, the highlighting is demonstrated in the ActiveX control. How an object is highlighted and the highlight color are determined by the settings of the isoviewhighlightstyle and isoviewhighlightcolor advanced preferences.
For Creo View, you cannot control the highlight style and color. The style is always fill, meaning that the object’s color changes. The highlight color is the default color provided by Creo View.
Insert — Inserts the link and closes the dialog box.
Note that when this button is named Modify on the Modify Highlight Link dialog box. In this case, the link is modified when you click the button. It is named Add on the Add Highlight Link dialog box. In this case, the link is added to the Links table in the Update Graphic Object Links dialog box.
