Adding Delimiters around a Character Grouping
1. In the Equation Editor window, highlight an existing character grouping.
2. From the menu bar, choose > > and the required delimiter from the Equation Editor menu.
If there is no highlighting in the Equation Editor window when delimiters are chosen, the input box and marker appears between them. Delimiter pairs size themselves according to the size of the characters they surround.
You can change a pair of delimiters into a single delimiter (unlike single delimiters chosen from the menu, a single delimiter created in this way will resize according to the size of the characters the pair surrounded).
