Building Fractions
Use the following procedure to build fractions.
1. Open the Equation Editor.
2. Choose Constructs > fraction. A fraction bar with an input box in the numerator and one in the denominator appears in the window in the space to which the outline originally pointed.
When the empty fraction structure appears, the numerator input box is already outlined with the marker.
3. Choose Symbols > Word Functions > exp.
4. Add a left parentheses and a minus sign following exp. Notice that typing the left parentheses also produces a right parentheses, with the marker in between them.
5. Choose Symbols > Lowercase Greek > mu to add a mu symbol after the minus sign, and then type r.
