Lightweight User Interface Overview
The lightweight user interface is a scaled-down version of the Arbortext Editor user interface. Authors who need to create SGML or XML documents but do not need extensive editing capabilities may wish to use this interface. The lightweight user interface can be enabled for individual authors or for all authors.
The lightweight user interface differs from the standard Arbortext Editor user interface in the following ways:
Fewer menus appear on the menu bar.
Fewer items are available on some of the menus.
The standard Edit, Markup, and Table toolbars are replaced by a single, simplified toolbar.
For more information on these differences, refer to Differences between the standard and lightweight user interface menus and Differences between the standard and lightweight user interface toolbars.
The lightweight user interface is enabled by the set liteui command. For more information, refer to Enabling the lightweight user interface.
