Changing a Centered Equation to an Aligned Equation
By default, multi-row equations are centered with respect to each row. You may want the rows to be aligned on a symbol in each row.
1. In the Equation Editor window, choose Commands > Make Aligned vs Centered to align the rows on the first construct in each row.
2. Repeat for each row in the equation.
