Publishing Rules Dialog Box
In this dialog box, you can create and manage publishing rules or publishing rule sets. You can click the Name, Type, Document Type, Target, and Description column headings to sort the list alphabetically by the entries in that column.
If you are using Arbortext Publishing Engine for publishing documents, the Target displays server. If you are using Arbortext Styler or a Print Composer or Web/Wireless Composer license, the Target displays local.
You can take the following actions:
• New— Opens Create New Publishing Rule where you can create a new publishing rule or rule set.
• View Details — Opens Publishing Rule Details window if you highlighted a rule or the Publishing Rule Set Details if you highlighted a rule set.
• Duplicate — Opens Duplicate Publishing Rule window if you highlighted a rule or Duplicate Publishing Rule Set if you highlighted a rule set. Most of the fields are populated with the data from your selected publishing rule or rule set. You can then change the name, rule file, description and publishing properties of the rule or rule set.
• Modify — Opens Modify Publishing Rule window if you highlighted a rule or Modify Publishing Rule Set if you highlighted a rule set. All of the fields display the data from your selected publishing rule or rule set. You can then change the description and publishing properties of the rule or rule set.
• Delete — Deletes the selected rule or rule set. You can select multiple entries for deletion. You will be asked to confirm each one.
