The ALD User Interface
The PTC ALD user interface is made up of five main areas, these five being categorized as either application interface windows or document windows. As such each window contains a specific set of information about a document or template or permits a particular set of actions to be carried out:
• Application interface windows
◦ WYSIWYG view (see WYSIWYG View)
◦ Yellow text edit bar (see Yellow Text Edit Bar)
◦ Blue bar or left hand tag area (see Blue Bar)
• Document windows
◦ Toolbars (see ALD’s Toolbars)
◦ Macro bar : note that this is a floating bar called as a default by the F9 key (see Macro Bar)
