Working with Creo View
The Structure tab of theCreo View explorer contains the commands and actions that are used to work with the Windchill MPMLink explorers. These commands and actions are displayed in the Structure tab context menu. To access the Structure tab’s context menu, right-click inside the tab. For information on the standard Creo View context menus, refer to the online help.

Objects are selected in explorers in accordance with the existing navigation criteria (expansion criteria and option rules, if applicable).
In addition to the standard Creo View context menu options Creo View offers the following Windchill MPMLink specific context menu options,
Command
Description
Save
Updates the open representation of a Windchill MPMLink object that has been modified.
Save As Representation
Saves the current Creo View session as a representation of the selected object in the navigation pane.
Copy
Copies all selected objects to the clipboard. Objects can then be pasted into other Windchill MPMLink explorers.
Update Geometry
Updates the content (structure and geometry) of the representation in Creo View with the latest content from the Windchill database based on the filter used at the time the representation was initially created.

This only works if the representation has initially been created and saved from Creo View.
Select Corresponding Usage
Used to select all objects that have the same usage as the selected object in the structure. For example, if a Child Assembly has two occurrences of Part A associated to it, selecting this action selects both parts in the structure.
Select In Explorer
Use to select a related object in an open explorer or selection tab.
Remove Same Objects From Viewer
Removes all objects with the same identification as the selected object, and all related geometry from the Creo View.
Remove Selected Objects Instance From Viewer
Removes the selected objects and their associated geometry from the Creo View.
Select Control Characteristics In Explorer
Displays the selected control characteristics in an open explorer.
Refresh Control Characteristics
Control characteristics are not immediately propagated to Creo View. Selecting this option displays a control characteristic that has been added in an Windchill MPMLink explorer in Creo View.
New Control Characteristics
Opens the New Control Characteristic window.
